We honor and remember Spc. Trevor Pinnick of Lawrenceville, Ill. Spc. Pinnick, who died nine years ago on June 11th, 2012 in Panjwa’l, Kandahar province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the 18th Engineer Company, 1st Battalion, 37th Field Artillery Regiment, 3rd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash. Spc. Pinnick was born the son of Nancy Adams Pinnick and Thomas Pinnick. He was a 2010 graduate of Lawrenceville High School, and after graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Army. He was stationed at Ft. Lewis, Washington, and was deployed to Afghanistan. He was a devoted husband, father, son, and a dedicated soldier. We will never forget him.
